The Leslie speaker has a high end speaker and a low end speaker built into a wood cabinet. They each have a motor spinning the individual speakers in opposite directions creating a “doppler effect.” They can spin fast and slow. The rotating speakers throw the sound out, spreading it across the entire room, creating a completely different experience than, say, a guitar amp with a stationary speaker that’s pointing in one direction. You can literally feel what the player is playing.
And that excites me.
