When you share the stage with somebody, there is a respect that goes across the stage. You just can’t afford to let that person down. It’s like lying to your mom. If you let them down, it’s going to come back to haunt you. You just can’t do it.

Now the whole ship might go down, but if you go down together, that’s one thing. But you can’t be the person to say, “I’m going to slough off tonight, when everybody else is giving 100%.” You just can’t do that. There is too much respect for our craft and the work we have put in as individuals and as a band.
